The service was awesome. Everything that we ordered was delicious. I'd recommend making a reservation ahead of time. We did but noticed they got busy fast. Highly recommend!

Went here for my wife's birthday. I can't remember my servers name, but he was exceptional. Food was delicious as expected. The Delmonico steak is terrific. Aside from the service and food, the atmosphere is also 10/10. Would 100% recommend this restaurant.

Chophouse is my top pick in Nola for steak and surf/turf dinners. The service, drinks, and food quality are consistently excellent. It feels welcoming like Cheers, with attentive waitstaff who remember every detail to ensure a fantastic dining experience. Joe stands out as our favorite server for his exceptional, natural service. Live entertainment during dinner and convenient valet service downtown add to the appeal. We enjoyed boiled lobster tail, fried lobster tail, and an 8oz filet, paired with creamed spinach and onion rings--all delicious. We'll definitely return!

Fantastic! Service was top notch h. Cocktails delicious. Wine list extensive. Every tray we saw pass us looked amazing and just gave a reasons to return. We had the HuGE bacon appetizer that was meaty pork belly goodness. Our group of 4 had a filet, a ribeye, the redfish w crabmeat and baked shrimp. Everyone as silent while we ate. My shrimp were huge and wonderful. And that Key Lime Pie mmmmmm yummy Valet parking was a huge advantage too.

Food: Delmonico Steak (medium well) with Cajun style is to die for. Perfect amount of fat, chared in the right places, annnd not chewy!! If you are not starving for steak, split this into two. Large loaded bake potatoes with cheese, bacon, chives, butter, and sour crean, with sprinkle of salt and pepper. The baked shrimps were large and very tasty Service: No complaints and great service. Observations of all servers, I saw teamwork and professionalism. I believe there are too many workers in the setting. The desert was very delicious. Key lime pie!!! Ambiance: It was very nice. It smelt great (charred smoke) and dimmer lighting. The AC was blowing too cold. We tried to fight it through the end. The big party that came in next to us had requested the ac to be lowered, and they did. I say to watch the air as we know the workers wear coats and can not feel how cold it gets through those big vents.

We had a great steak dinner here. The steaks were PERFECT! The baked potatoes were HUGE. They made our formidably sized steaks look small. Ha! We also thought their Caesar salad was REALLY GOOD! We appreciated that they sat us at 530 since they had capacity so we could surrender our 645 reservation. Service was really attentive. They seemed to have a really crazy ratio of staff to guests--- but that definitely meant someone had eyes on our every need before we even asked. They had some live music. It was entertaining....but more in a sappy, gave us a chuckle sort of way. The music and performer was good... it was just the selection of pretty sappy tunes that kept making us giggle. But it added to the fun.

This night was a blur as we were celebrating my hubbies birthday. He loves steak so a steakhouse was a must. This is an intimate restaurant with low lighting to set a romantic mood. Every point of service is spot on, hostess, waitstaff, and the wonderful sounds of the piano player. Our food was cooked to perfection and totally worth every penny! Thank you Chophouse for making the birthday boy feel so special!

It's always a great time at our favorite steakhouse. Tonight was no different. We arrived exactly at the end of our grace period, and the valet was there to assist my wife and take our car so that we made it on time. Service was phenomenal. It was probably the best service we've had here. Kudos to [TBD] who provided excellent service. She was on her game the whole time, and she never went awol the way some servers do. Our glasses stayed full, the table clean, and we never wanted for anything. The way she described the praline sweet potatoes inspired me to try it, which is a nice segue into describing the meal. The sweet potatoes were divine. Just scrumptious! No dessert needed after that point. It was mashed sweet potatoes, but they were moist and buttery, almost custard like in texture. There was a middle layer of praline crumble with notes of cinnamon and sugar. All of it topped with roasted mini marshmallows that provided a crispy, pillowy texture and even more sweetness. It was the only dish to get a photo. 10/10 We started with the crab bisque. They must emulsify the ingredients, because it was smooth. It's in my top 3 of dishes to get. 10/10 Next was the bread service. The Leidenheimer loaf was warm and pillowy soft. The butter was cold and salty. My wife was abstaining from bread, so there was more for me. We then had the baked shrimp. This dish can be hit or miss. The shrimp were big and juicy and tasted like lobster. Unfortunately, there was no buttery sauce to bathe them in, so they were dry. 7/10 My wife and I split the bone-in ribeye. We got it medium well, and it was so moist and delicious. It was seasoned well and the crust was to die for. I wish I could replicate the level of seer needed to create that crust at home. 10/10. I selected a high top because it was the only type of table available when I made the reservation. It was nice, though. We were tucked into our little corner away from other guests. They replaced the piano man. They need to keep looking because the guy tonight couldn't sing. Classic R&B is definitely not his strength. Lol. He should stick to instrumental only.
